FAQs

Frequently asked questions

Are mortgage brokers free?

In many cases, lenders pay mortgage brokers a commission for arranging their products. Fees can apply in some circumstances. We will explain any applicable fees and commissions before you proceed.

How many lenders do you work with?

We have access to a panel of lenders through our aggregator/licensee arrangements. The lenders available to you will depend on your circumstances and the authority under which we operate.

Will you guarantee my loan?

No. All lending is subject to lender assessment, verification, policy and approval.

Can you help if I’m self-employed?

Yes. We work with borrowers whose income or business structure requires more detailed assessment.

Can you help if my circumstances are complex?

We can discuss your circumstances and assess whether there are suitable options available through our lending panel. Approval remains subject to lender criteria.

Will a lower rate always be better?

Not necessarily. We consider the broader cost, features, structure and suitability of a proposed loan rather than focusing only on the headline interest rate.
